EagleHawk interns are provided with the opportunity to work on the ground floor of an innovate drone technology start up out of our Buffalo, NY office. Our interns see the fruits of their work first hand and are very much involved in innovative projects. In addition to a start-up in-office atmosphere, our interns have also accompanied EagleHawk field operations for exciting jobs such as various inspections, Buffalo Bisons Star Wars Night and The Erie County Fair.

 Architectural Design Intern (unpaid) - Candidate must have experience in and be proficient in Autodesk software, including CAD & Revit. This intern position will work with data obtained from EagleHawk's drone operations. The intern will  be tasked with enhancing data outputs and processing said outputs to be compatible with architectural design software. 

Candidate will have the responsibility to complete tasks as assigned and will become educated on the drone industry in the US, including applicable use cases of the technology. Candidate will get first hand experience working with EagleHawk both in the field and in the "office".

Candidate will need to be available for approximately 20 hours/week. There will be opportunity to work remotely if deemed appropriate by EagleHawk. 

- Have you used and are you comfortable working in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUP?

- You will be asked to convert .TIF, .OBJ and .LAS files in to functional .DWG and other file types. 

- You will be asked to create a workflow and produce architectural drawings relative to EagleHawk drone operations.

Operations/Marketing/Journalism Intern (unpaid) - Candidate will assist in day to day administrative duties as they relate to EagleHawk drone operations. He/She will be actively engaged in content creation for social media, email and web campaigns for EagleHawk. Ideal candidate will have some interest in technology and the drone industry, including uses and trends. 

This position is open for multiple candidates and the internship will be structured around the candidate's education, interests and focus.

Candidate will need to be available for approximately 20 hours/week. There will be opportunity to work remotely if deemed appropriate by EagleHawk. 

Duties (may include and are not limited to)

- Journal details of major EagleHawk drone operations from start to finish.

- Research drone industry news and trends on a regular basis, and provide comments/feedback on this info. You will create social media posts using a scheduling tool such as Hootsuite. 

- You will learn and become familiar with EagleHawk drone operations, as well as learn about the drone industry in general. 

- You will be tasked with creating targeted email marketing campaigns using services such as Constant Contact. 

- You will be tasked with completing administrative duties as assigned to assist in EagleHawk drone operations.
